Pros

- Amazing culture. Work hard, play hard mentality. Casual work environment. Great and smart people to work with. - Great clients. You will absolutely get big names on your resume. - Actively working on issues with diversity in the building. I found Leo to be fairly diverse already but they're openly handling issues with retention rates among PoC. - This is not a boys' club. Leo has also been working actively to make sure the environment is safe for all people of all genders.

Cons

- Will shove you into another role unrelated to your skillset as needed. Would probably be best if they spent that money hiring a good person for the role. For example, a team needs a copywriter and can't find one so they'll either pull another copywriter from another team or just have some random project manager play this role until they find something more permanent. Or maybe this setup will be permanent and each person involved will just have more work dumped on them, who knows! - With the above point, they tend to swamp people with work while others may not have much to do. This, of course, depends on your role. - Most creatives in the building have little idea of how digital content works which made for plenty of headache-inducing back and forth discussions when work could have been done instead. - If you're looking for digital work, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Leo no longer has a digital team. - Some teams are terrible about pushing back against clients. We should not be giving clients everything they want at the drop of a hat just because they ask for it.

Pros

At the time, unmatched creative depending on team. Plenty of kind folks, most of which I gather are no longer there. Opportunity to work on bigger briefs, straddle new accounts, etc. based on your level on ambition. Pave your own way.

Cons

Many. Frozen promo cycles even after being formally recommended. No merit increase after year one. CCO at the time ignored internal issues and instead continually offered up the proverbial Kool-Aid. Long hours, like getting teams messages/requests at 10pm for a morning deadline. Plenty of ego and pressure to go around (depending on your team).
