Pros

Great health, dental and eye benefits. Fellow employees are great for the most part. They do try to compensate you every year during your review, but we'll see what happens this year...

Cons

In this time working for a company that does DoD work is not the most comfortable place to work based on the lack of funds. I have been here less than 5 years and have lived to watch a slew of co-workers get laid off in the 5 "rifs" that have happened since I've been with the company. I have thankfully had the opportunity to move a couple times, however the past 3 years have been stuck with no opportunity for further advancement. This seems to be the trend in a lot of departments. With all the rifs there has been a lot of uneasiness among the employees and a lot of rumors that management does not seem to put to rest.

Pros

Well managed all around. Used to be a really good place to work, but since they went public, it's just a good place to work.

Cons

Defence industry, typical feast or famine. Either working over time to tight schedules or nothing to do.

Pros

The only Pro with this company was having every other Friday off.

Cons

Poor leadership and management culture. In my experience, management positions are often filled from a small, long-tenured group, resulting in limited diversity of thought and few opportunities for outside perspectives. Many leaders lacked the skills needed to effectively develop, mentor, and support their teams. Rather than addressing organizational issues, accountability often seemed to flow downward, with lower-level employees bearing the consequences of management decisions. I also observed talented Program Managers leaving or being terminated under circumstances that suggested they were being held responsible for broader organizational problems rather than receiving appropriate leadership support. Overall, the culture discouraged transparency, accountability, and professional growth.
