Pros
Supportive management and people first culture - Leadership genuinely cares about the well being and growth of employees. Promotions are quick, training and support for growth is plentiful and the company provides a lot of incentives and perks to give back to employees. Clear mission and a product that matters - It genuinely feels good to work on something that helps real people. Small businesses run our country and communities. And Levitate drives relationships and engagement for these companies. Incredibly passionate smart and humble team. Everyone at levitate seems to walk around with an attitude of testing, winning and accountability. It's addictive. Work Life Balance is respected. It's rare, especially in sales but management constantly reinforces boundaries. Burnout culture even when chasing quarter goals is not a thing. Goals are chased through intelligent data driven initiatives... not sacrificing people's sanity. That being said, when someone does want to step up, they are allowed to. Leadership is transparent and accessible. The CEO works in an office right next to the sales floor and is approachable. All of the goals across the company are discussed openly and everyone keeps themselves accountable. Nuff said.
Cons
High performance environment - Not for the faint of heart or for someone who wants to coast. The team expects and operates on excellence and winning. If you aren't driven or adaptable you may feel the pressure. Always pushing forward - Wins are celebrated but the mindset is always what's next. It's motivating for many, but can be intense if you are looking for easy. Growth mentality can be unrelenting - The bar rises with success. And that can be frustrating for certain people. Not a traditional startup vibe - Quoting the CRO "Levitate is an anomaly. It shouldn't exist." I personally find this inspiring. Some may find it daunting.
