Pros
They pay well for the city and most depts allow for a good work life balance as late nights and weekends are typically not expected.
Cons
The company is going out of business slowly. So layoffs happen regularly and there is little to no employee advancement or growth. It's a very stale and toxic environment because everyone is just trying to protect themselves. Many groups are run in a very political/hierarchical manner which stifles growth and innovation.
