Pros
Great people. Generally good management. Ethical culture. Competitive pay. Good benefits (unlimited "vacation"). Vertical market approach provides opportunity for some focus. This company genuinely looks to do the best they can for customers so I never had to make silly excuses for our performance or products. Good diversity (age/sex) on the software side of the house. Outside of the current bid to sell the company (killing morale) it is one of the better places I think one could hope to work. Relatively low turnover.
Cons
Growing pains from M&A activity that have consumed 15 companies in 5 years. They have not been careful enough with these cultures - with the "secret sauce" that made these smaller, more dynamic companies worth acquiring. Much harder place to work if you are in sales as management has a lot of focus on Salesforce reports - not unique to Lexmark but still often shortsighted.
