Pros

This is a wonderful place to work with a lot of wonderful people. They help so many people from seniors and children and families. The staff really are committed and do a wonderful job.

Cons

It is challenging at times to manage such a complex organization especially in the ever changing world of funders, etc. Recruitment and retention can be a challenge at times as well.

Staff is friendly and helpful with any issues. Residents are very welcoming and friendly

Cons

Some toxic staff, who should either leave or retire but it takes ALL kinds of people.

Pros

Benefits were relatively good and health maintenance programs were available. Work life balance in some departments seemed to be actually considered.

Cons

Salary was based on 37.5 hour week. Work week was rarely less than 45 hours but no additional compensation was offered. Changes were always top down, suggestions from lower level employees were rarely acknowledged.
