Pros
- Liberty continually practices putting people first - Fair work-life balance: Flexible work schedules for most departments, flexible time off for whatever reason you need it, 4 annual personal days in addition, and 10 company holidays each year; remote work is allowed for many positions, while some require a couple of days in-office near the hubs - Fair benefits: Decent options for many scenarios - Focus on growth & development: resume is not a taboo word. Liberty genuinely cares about developing talent in its employees and ensuring they find the right talent for the right roles.
Cons
- Despite its efforts to make you feel seen and heard as a person, there are still moments when you feel like a number or a cog. Leadership is working to improve on this. - Communication is not always as good as it could be. Big changes sometimes happen with minimal communication ahead of time to prepare people for change. This is a continued improvement effort company-wide. - After announcing it would be more open to remote work to ensure we are fitting the right talent to the right positions, the company backpedaled after the new CEO stepped in and is now requiring employees within a certain distance of the main office hubs to return to office a couple of days per month or per week. This kind of change damages trust and causes anxiety over what future changes might impact in terms of our lives.
