Pros

-Benefits. Excellent benefits. -Access to best of technology and software. -People are nice in general. -It always pays to work somewhere where the President of the United States has been and is friends with the President of LU. -Campus is beautiful.

Cons

-The pay is atrocious. -Unless you work in an environment with younger people, the atmosphere is extremely biased towards men. The culture is incredibly sexist - and I know what you're thinking - this is just some raging feminist - no. When you, just because you're a female, are thrown the duties like "party planning" or "cleaning up" (to name a few) just because you are a woman, the climate reeks of male superiority. The older men in positions of power abuse this. I have seen first hand how a woman is treated versus a man, both with similar education and background experience. It's insane - and it feels like you're in the Twilight Zone. "Human Resources" is another name for "let's protect Liberty and it's assets and completely ignore the actual complaints of the employees." It exists to protect those who make a lot of money - and it's secrecy, from salary "transparency" to the way they give (or don't give) raises is 100% unethical. I cannot think of a worse place to work. Women are not valued. Older employees are not valued. It's an insanely toxic atmosphere, and because I am bound to this job because I am in dire need of its health benefits, I would run away. Run very, very far away.

Pros

The most supportive management group I have ever been a part of. The people who work there are amazing. You are encouraged to support your customers with prayer. Time off is incredible from the start. A lot of control where time is concerned

Cons

Liberty University does not allow overtime.
