Really, really bad experience - Janitor/Cleaner Lidl Employee Review

I wouldn't recommend working here, and having seen their cleaning practices I definitely wouldn't recommend shopping here. I was told to use the same mop for the employee toilets and the store. I was told to use the same cleaning cloths for the employee toilets, the bakery, and the meat section. I wasn't given any gloves for cleaning, was expected to have bare hands while using chemicals, cleaning toilets etc. I was told to use the Hako (big, industrial cleaning machine) in the store without any training - this could have been really dangerous, you could seriously harm someone if you knocked into them with this thing. Some of the staff were friendly but some were bullies - one refused to learn my name and referred to me as 'the girl' the whole time I was there. The atmosphere among staff was really bad. 5 mins into my first shift there was an attempted stabbing as a staff member tried to stop a shoplifter. I went to see if she was ok and she shrugged me off, saying this was 'normal'.
