-Incredible Culture and Values -Good Benefits and Learning Oppurtunities

Cons

Note that the reviews on here are heavily skewed positive, and that is because the organization encourages employees to write only positive reviews. If you have a negative view or concern about the organization, they would rather you not share that and instead talk to your leader so they can be "addressed." Sadly, no addressing happens other than labeling you as a troublemaker and just another disgruntled employee that can't “cut it.”. Starting a job here begins as a dream come true. Everything you wanted in a job seems to become a reality instantly. However, that quickly fades as you learn the way things run. This has to be the most clicky and uncivil workplaces that I have ever worked. As stated in other reviews, Life.Church demands a lot of its employees, and that can't be said enough. A lot is required of you, and you quickly will become worn out, burnt out, and drained. Life.Church is a nightmare in regards to HR policies. I have lost count of the examples of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other abusive behavior that I encountered. This place is a textbook definition of a hostile work environment if you happen to get on the bad side of someone with influence over others. Retaliation is enormous here, so be careful what you say and who you say it to. You can't speak up based on what you know to be legally protected because this is a church organization, so many state and federal workplace laws don't apply. The workplace environment here is severely inappropriate, and there are no boundaries between your personal life and your professional life. I even brought concerns to the Group Leader of HR, and she diminished my issues, and then I was the one that got punished in the long run. Remember what I said about retaliation? The way situations are handled from an HR perspective goes against many state and federal workplace laws. Just know that this place can be great, but it can also be an inappropriate and uncivil workplace environment, and you will have no real protection legally.

It is a custom of my people from Mexico to apply ourselves to the best of our ability. While showing & providing respect , integrity, virtue & dignity to those around us.
