Pros

Nothing! You think you get a "free" membership, but once you work here you'll never have time to actually use the club.

Cons

You name it, they have it. This place is not a fun place to work. Sports & fitness is suppose to be enjoyable - not be more restrictive and have more metrics driving them than some financial firms. What a horrible place. You would think that with a slogan like "a healthy way of life" they would actually care about having some balance in life. Nope! They killed my passion for fitness with their corporate profit driven approach. Nothing here is healthy. Everything on the surface looks good, because thats exactly the act that they would want you to believe. Members are given a wonderful front, while staff are treated like dirt, overworked, underpaid and expected to do more and more with fewer resources. Stingy doesn't even begin to tell the story. On Boarding in this place is like being thrown under a bus. They are light years behind the new fitness boutiques and they think they can catch up by merely using their big size. Thats your problem Life time, you want to please everyone except your staff!!

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
