Pros

Life Time Fitness is a great company that is growing every year. There are many opportunities for advancement to both new positions within the company as well as growth in your current position. You will meet a lot of great people and form bonds with those who you work with.

Cons

This position will not only be your job, but be your life. There is no time for a personal relationship or any free time. You are expected to work 5 10 hour days with two non-consecutive days off. On your days off you will be expected to come in for a minimum of 5 hours. If you leave when you are scheduled each day, you will be asked why you are not putting in extra effort. Upper management is paid by how well you do, therefore they expect you to be there ALL OF THE TIME. Life Time is open 365 days a year, so yes we work all holidays. This is an entry level position and you will notice a lot of turnover. This is not a career position.

Pros

Free Membership Cool employees Discounts on services

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
