Heavy workload, the work of 2 employees but paid as 1, very stressful, management uses negativity, competitive back stabbing, threats, write ups, to get as much productivity with no allowance for any mistakes whatsoever. They pick someone to harshly and wrongfully discipline to use as an example to scare other employees in department. Almost no one makes any money, especially the sales staff and personal trainers. It practically costs them to work. The owner is a millionaire and cares nothing about his employees!
