Pros

The only reason to ever work for Lifetime is the free membership and if you’re desperately looking for a job.

Cons

The biggest downside to working at Lifetime is how over worked the Operations team is and how severely understaffed and underpaid they are. Every club would be disgusting if it wasn’t for the Ops team. No other department will help. Management is abysmal. The GM at my location at least, is not knowledgeable about anything. Everyone is afraid of confrontation and hurting people’s feeling so there’s a lot of passive aggressive behavior. They don’t discipline members for rude behavior. They’re have been countless reports of sexual assault in the locker rooms and nothing ever gets done about it. The men’s locker room is a cesspool of homosexual activity. So many men only go there to have sex with other men and when it’s brought to the attention of management, nothing gets done.

Free Membership Cool employees Discounts on services

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
