Pros

Free membership? Coworkers are nice (mostly)

Cons

Too many to list, but here are some: - This company does NOT invest in their employees. I'm not just talking pay (even though that is a MAJOR factor), but also training and improvement - Expect you to work ridiculous hours (10-12+ hours, 6 days a week) - You will leave there feeling undervalued and under appreciated. In the short time I spent at lifetime (I couldn't get out of there fast enough), so many employees left that clients didn't even want to waste time trying to work with a trainer because they leave so frequently. - I experienced so much shady behavior. Between sexual harassment and cutting employees hours (don't get me started on draw), you really have to reevaluate the system. At my location there were only 4 employees that have been there longer than 2 years out of a staff of over 20. It should be clear where the problems are but management seems to be blind to these issues. 60-80% turnover is EXTREMELY problematic and there should be a better way to run a business. - They will blatantly lie to you during the recruiting process. This is just part of the way lifetime likes to run its business. Don't be surprised if you are working double the hours for half the pay. - They hire people in management positions based on how they get along with other members of management, not how well they can lead a team. Don't be surprised if your manager is a lying moron. - When I first started, I was told several times it would take 18-24 months to start making a reasonable salary (reasonable to lifetime is 30k).

Pros

Free Membership Cool employees Discounts on services

Cons

They don’t pay anything, and the CEO should honestly be ashamed. If employees were paid properly, there wouldn’t be so much drama and tension in the workplace. Communication is terrible because management doesn’t even seem to care — probably because they’re getting crumbs too. Spa management was dreadful, and the demotion was necessary. How do you fail to have people booked during major holidays when the money and clientele are clearly there? There was no structure, no leadership, and no motivation for employees to succeed. Having a successful spa for 3 years and coming into this environment I was not impressed. No growth, no support, no appreciation. Loved the members tho! And S/O to Leemar, Virgil and Dr. Hayden love them down!
