The greatest pro is 12hr shifts instead of 24s, and potential for CEs to be provided.

Cons

Mechanical and equipment issues are a regular occurrence. Management only has your back if it benefits them, otherwise you’re on your own. Advancement is significantly relied upon who you know vs your knowledge or abilities. Most current management spends more time trying to micromanage rather than lead by example or find real solutions to problems.
