Pros
I loved my co-workers and supervisor here. Everyone was very supportive and encouraged questions. I learned a lot about behavioral interventions here and I think it will help me in my future career. This company has a great orientation training which really sets their employees up for success. During the training, we spoke about ways to have a good work-life balance. I usually worked weekends, but my supervisor made efforts to be available to me by giving me her personal and work phone numbers. This made it easy for me to check in with her about the clients and ask her what behavioral intervention she would recommend.
Cons
The only downside to working at LifeWorks was the lack of personal over the weekends, which is when I usually worked. There were other health care professionals around but it would have been nice if another mental health associate was there.
