Pros
They have a great foundation and mission to provide care to patient's in an accelerated program with great therapists who support the patient's and their goals of returning home at a high functional level. Pay is decent with a bonus of commission when monthly metrics are hit. Benefits are good as well with some that are included at no cost for full time employees. Management and corporate are helpful and assist when needed to improve job performance. Resources are sent to you for onsite training.
Cons
Work/life balance is not as balanced as they make it out to be. Remoting into your position is difficult to get approved although they state you have a laptop for remote access when needed. PTO will typically be used even when you are working. Not enough paid holidays are approved and 16 days of PTO for a whole year is very low. On-site hours can be strenuous on a family and there is no willingness to compromise on hours to mitigate that conflict. It's advertised as an 8-5 M-F position although you will be working well over 50 hours a week as well as weekends for the first half of the year. Often felt very unaccepted at and closed off when staff onsite. There was a lot of tension between the company and the contracted hospital. Resource trainers are not there for near as long as you need for training.
