Pros

In the four years that I have been with LifeSpark I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented and dedicated individuals in the industry. I belong to and work alongside a very strong, knowledgeable, and supportive team. The thing that I feel is the most important is that LifeSpark offers a tremendous amount of support, not only to the people we serve, but the employees as well. I have experienced this directly and am quite grateful for it.

Cons

Staff turnover is always a challenge, but we have a team that is ready, willing, and able to jump in and help. It's all hands-on deck when needed.

Pros

The people are why I have stayed

Cons

It seems like upper management never knows the direction they are headed. I’ve been with the organization over 5 years and I have seen really amazing managers come and go. Sometimes it’s layoffs, other times it’s other concerns like productivity, etc. They term people in large clusters, which is always concerning however they say that “you are fine.” It is concerning to see that amount of turn over. I feel like management isn’t always placed on experience. Within senior living it’s disappointing seeing a lack of growth and development for leadership teams, which is why I think good leaders leave. I also think that the individual work loads are too high to be sustainable long term, which causes burn out.
