Pros

Some good people on the team

Cons

Inept management. They treat everyone like a nurse on a hospital shift, without listening to how a position is usually handled.

We take our employee experience seriously and so far have had wonderful experiences within our newly formed hospice team. We’d love to talk with you to understand better your experience so we can learn and take action from it. Please reach out to our Chief People Officer, Jill Hackenmueller directly at 952-345-8770.

Pros

The people are why I have stayed

Cons

It seems like upper management never knows the direction they are headed. I’ve been with the organization over 5 years and I have seen really amazing managers come and go. Sometimes it’s layoffs, other times it’s other concerns like productivity, etc. They term people in large clusters, which is always concerning however they say that “you are fine.” It is concerning to see that amount of turn over. I feel like management isn’t always placed on experience. Within senior living it’s disappointing seeing a lack of growth and development for leadership teams, which is why I think good leaders leave. I also think that the individual work loads are too high to be sustainable long term, which causes burn out.
