Pros

The field staff/my team were excellent clinicians that truly tried and cared for seniors. The clients are wonderful!

Cons

This company has declined. There is no longer work life balance. PTO is denied, While I was on PTO I had to check in multiple times a day or my entire schedule/plan of care was changed when I was off. This was extremely stressful for me and for patients and their families. Management will send emails or Teams messages at all hours of the day and on the weekend. Admissions/management will keep pushing for new clients even if the field team is already over full. I have seen new evals wait for over a week before they are seen. Staff are told to change plan of care from 2x a week to 1x a week even if the pt needs 2x a week treatment due to being saturated with clients and not having enough staff. Productivity is pushed not client care.

Pros

The people are why I have stayed

Cons

It seems like upper management never knows the direction they are headed. I’ve been with the organization over 5 years and I have seen really amazing managers come and go. Sometimes it’s layoffs, other times it’s other concerns like productivity, etc. They term people in large clusters, which is always concerning however they say that “you are fine.” It is concerning to see that amount of turn over. I feel like management isn’t always placed on experience. Within senior living it’s disappointing seeing a lack of growth and development for leadership teams, which is why I think good leaders leave. I also think that the individual work loads are too high to be sustainable long term, which causes burn out.
