Pros
I have worked in a few different childcare centers before Lightbridge Academy. This is by far the cleanest and most organized building that I have worked in. Lightbridge Academy also offers excellent benefits including 401K, Paid Time Off, and Childcare discounts. The company lives and breathes by its Core Values, and hold staff members accountable based off of those Values. Management cares and encourages that you have a work-life balance; the company cares about the children and families, but their people are just as important – which isn’t always what I have experienced in the past.
Cons
I don't feel that I have many cons. It is a hard job, but you have to put the work in. You are here because you are doing what you love. I am encouraged to grow professionally, however, others do not have the drive within themselves - so it is unfortunate for them.
