Pros

In my center we have consistent RBTs, and the flexibility is nice

Cons

I worked for them years ago and it was so much better than now. Sessions are 4 hours long, clinics are different in their structure (dependent on your CD and how much effort they put in), and they seem very money hungry. All other companies I’ve worked for give you credit towards your billable hours for PTO, but they do not. If you’re gone a week, you’re still expected to hit your monthly billable and it’s written in the handbook that failure to do so will be investigated (for things including PTO). For wanting work life balance/happy employees, punishing them for using their earned benefits seems pretty bogus. Upper corporate management is also all over the place lately, tons of turn over, switching positions, those in high positions living in states that the company doesn’t even have any clinics in: makes it super odd, feeling like they’re clearly there for the money and puts a bad taste in your mouth. Upper management should be able to visit clinics and see what’s up. They also state “LAC client paid reinforcers” but give BCBA no access to such. I’m begging for appropriate toys/reinforcers constantly but it’s not in budget.

Pros

Most of the people who work there are really nice.

Cons

Sometimes working the entire 8 hour shift without a single break because of how understaffed the center was and when we were well staffed the only break you would get is 2 7 minute breaks. My BCBA was remote and most of the time was not helpful because, she had no understanding of the kids and what was happening in the center.
