Pros

Fast paced environment, good benefits, good training overall. Management is generally friendly. Everyone is mostly in the loop with weekly meetings.

Cons

I was in a busy branch. The theory is make everyone do everything and then it's better customer experience. Which, while wonderful on paper, is ridiculous in reality. You are expected to be a teller, a customer service representative, and a lending professional. There is not enough hours in a day to do all of this while being expected to help walk in members, process Teller transactions, and process loans accurately. It is easy to drown. Not to mention, if you have a line out the door and are trying to get your loans done and accidently do something wrong- you get an error and they confiscate your bonus payout.. training is inconsistent across departments, so you are told one thing, and then another team tells you its wrong. I would float around branches and every one felt like a different company. The name change was poorly handled and caused a lot of flack against MES who had absolutely nothing to do with it. They won't promote you and there's also nowhere to move up, unless you like drowning trying to hit 350k sales goals. Several "before work" meetings a week makes for long work days.

Pros

Some good coworkers helping the day go by

Cons

Horrendous leadership from top to bottom. The leadership will talk about accountability but will be the first to point fingers when things go wrong. They harass when they don’t get their way, threaten, and cultivate a toxic work environment. The higher level management is so obsessed with their own work culture at HQ, they ignore what goes on in their own branches.
