Pros
The leadership of Lighthouse provides the sort of positive and nurturing environment that helps team oriented individuals who are motivated and focused to realize their greater potential. This company regularly makes strategic and meaningful investments in the advancement of its award winning and technologically sophisticated product line, the enhancement of team members and marketing that has resulted in continuous annual sales growth for MANY years. There is a true sense of teamwork, where each players talents are respected, valued and depended upon. Egos are checked at the door of every meeting I have ever been in. Our "hall of fame" in the Medford office is lined with more than 40 fantastic framed letters of appreciation that have been received from the company's incredible customer base. The fact that Lighthouse counts MANY Fortune 500 customers across MANY industries as very satisfied repeat customers speaks for itself. The company's dominance in the marketplace is a testimony to the leadership and the contribution each member brings to the team. There are ample opportunities for promotion and reward within the company. Evidenced in part by the lengthy tenure of the majority of the company's employees, the wages and benefits packages are very competitive. Not only have I not witnessed any office politics or gamesmanship, quite to the contrary, the company provides a fun, stable, mission focused and results oriented atmosphere. Lighthouse is also a truly community service minded organization, with a focus on giving back, as well as paying it forward. There is a culture of caring that makes working with this company a very positive and rewarding experience.
Cons
Like most other growing companies Lighthouse is challenged by having more opportunities than the company is able to take advantage of. I would call this growing pains. If you are interested in growing and stretching out of your comfort zone, this company could be a good fit for you.
