Pros
It was a great atmosphere, it was laid back and the dress code was casual so you didn't have to be uncomfortable in business attire while sitting at a desk. You had freedom to go to the bathroom or get coffee without having to ask for permission. I truly loved going to work for a long time.
Cons
No good training. It was more like you shadow someone and then are left on your own to figure it out. We were always so busy that new people never got the proper tools to excel. They expect so much out of you with no incentives or competitive pay. The same jobs at different companies pay was 5-6 dollars more to start! I was there almost 10 years and was a team lead and didn't even make what most people start out at other billing companies. The reason I was let go was because I went out due to mental health issues and ran out of my FMLA time. FYI most of my mental health was because of working there! I was just hoping that after being a good employee for 9 years that they would have some compassion but I received a phone call pretty much asking when I was coming back and I didn't know. Mental health doesn't really have a time frame of getting better. Since I couldn't give them am answer they said they had to fill my position and I received a letter in the mail a few days later stating I resigned. I guess my point here is if you want to be treated like this after working hard for a company for so long then this is the company for you.
