Pros

Great place to meet wonderful individuals along with a few not so wonderful ones. If you like meeting and helping with the medical needs of individuals in your community, this may be a good fit for you.

Cons

Company has huge turnover rate of employees for several reasons. High stress job with very little appreciation shown. Company doesn't like to pay overtime, runs short staffed at many service locations yet expects fully staffed operations to occur as it it was fully staffed with fully trained employees. Corporate expectations show a lack of patient care and usage of medical equipment and supplies being used by their clients, as well as actual job duties and time reality to accomplish assigned duties. Corporate also doesn't use up to date tools or equipment to best serve their employee and patients needs. Computers, tablets and phones are out of date as are their software programs. They will slight a community and it's needs based on past employee failures or just to save a few bucks in overtime needed to get the job done. Their billing department ranks amongst some of the worst out there when it comes to being reached as well as resolution of patient complaints. If you like to be under valued and under appreciated for your hard work, continously told to do more than is possible to do within time restraints placed upon you, never have time to do the required training for the tasks assigned, this may be the job for you. And you have to be able to handle the loss of lives of patients you develop relationships with over the years. You become like a family member and a real friend with many patients whose health is declining and if death disturbs you and losing friends isn't something you like, this job may not be for you.
