Pros
The pros of working here is simply to gain experience in the medical field.
Cons
Lack of training first and foremost. Sink or swim type of environment with little support. We had a "regional trainer" who did everything but train. Upper management could care less about your needs as an employee, just ring in the numbers. I've worked 7 days straight and still was never able to be caught up on my work. Forget about asking for raises, I've waited 2 years for a raise and got $0.30 out of it. Most definitely all about favoritism. Written grievances to my HR department about racial slurs and derogatory statements made about me from a fellow co-worker and nothing ever came about it. No strict policy on anti-discrimination and equality. As a nationwide company, you would think nearby centers would be helpful in lending a hand but no. Everyone was out for their own. Employees from other centers were unnecessarily catty, billing office employees were too good for anything- full of power tripping individuals. CSR's wear many hats with little to no recognition, no employee appreciation. You never heard any feedback unless there was wrongdoing. The workload was monstrous. The high turnover became routine. No room for advancement. I found myself running for a "senior" position with a fellow employee that came into our center 2 yrs after I had been there. They used that to toy with us, and attempted to turn us against eachother. Your job was constantly threatened by upper management. Everyday at work was like walking on eggshells. Most definitely an uneasy environment to work in.
