Pros
Some of the benefits are not the worst out there. Such as Medical and Vacation.
Cons
If you are a seasoned professional RN, RT, CNA, Manager, Sales rep do not work for Lincare. It could potential damage your carrier their poor reputation was earned not given. This is a highly dysfunctional company to work for. With a toxic environment that they are actually proud of. This is also not something that will be remedied unless Linde continues the shake up of the top brass (so far a new CEO and CFO brought from out of the company). I have personal discussed with Division managers and Area managers about the toxic environment. high turnover, excessive and quick to fire, but they honestly do not see it as a problem. They see it as a badge of honor that most people don't stay, and that the horror stories you read about them are just people who "have an ax to grind." Though they are concerned enough in the increase in negative reviews that they have started to jump on line and add a lot of positive ones where they can (you can easily notices these perfect reviews as they are written like an advertisement). They don't see the negative reviews as bad though as there just lies or half truths. To all the negative reviews along the lines of "management does not care" or "slave drivers". I have personally witnessed the top brass being proud of being labeled a "slave driver", and no they don't care at any level about their employees. They see you as easily replaced and if you don't like the unethical and repetitively proven culture of fraud (please google Lincare Medicare fraud or Lincare lawsuit for proof of this culture of fraud) then leave. They are not interested or even know how to properly run a company.
