Pros
There are not many pros to working at Lincoln as a woman. The only pro is that recently some of us have been getting fast tracked into promotions. Don't let that fool you though as is not because management feels we are qualified it is because they don't want a discrimination lawsuit or loss of government contracts.
Cons
Most of the women are treated as if they do not know anything and it WILL reflect on your bonus. Management is so far disconnected from the employees that they have no clue what is going on. Most of the things we are told to do are old school, pointless and a complete waste of time but don't dare try to challenge it or make any recommendations to improve a process. YOU WILL BE "HIT ON" DAILY. Currently there is a big push to hire more women and minorities. While I support and believe in diverse employee base, I do not support reverse discrimination. The most qualified person should always get the opportunity. The compensation is terrible compared to literally anywhere else. You will take home 1/2-2/3 of what a normal paycheck should be and pray for a good bonus to make up the difference. BTW, you will also pay in full for your health care out of your bonus a minimum of 5.5K if you use the company plan.
