Pros
Good PTO package, health benefits on day one though they are expensive, comprehensive access to various types of insurance.
Cons
Training is minimal even though you are working with very sensitive information. Managers and team leads are basically unavailable to employees, it's the blind leading the blind and when things go wrong, which they do a lot, the employee is to blame. Customers constantly upset due to incorrect information being given out at any level in the company, no one seems to know what the exact answers are. If you're new, good luck trying to understand what's going on here. Most new hire classes of 8-10 only keep one or two of their employees because people quit due to lack of support from management. Technology is also extremely outdated, have fun getting yelled at for only accepting checks and faxes. This job teaches you to grow a thick skin because most customers are irate and will take it out on you. A lot of the time they have every reason to be upset because they've been given false information or have been jerked around by Lincoln and it's employees for a lengthy period of time. Which makes sense because the training here is basically nothing and you're left to your own devices a lot of the time. Eventually everyone learns to be a whipping boy and even my direct manager is a door mat. This isn't a good place to work if you have any sort of self esteem issues or if you can't handle ridiculous standards or horrible customers.
