Pros

The pay and the patient population (if you like caring for children with behavioral and mental disorders)

Cons

Unorganized management, most of the staff sleep with each other, schedulers lie about shift incentives available just to get you to work a shift and tell you they didn't tell you that, management plays favoritism towards staff, HIGH TURNOVER, no raises for PRN staff, frequent complaints from parents of children who were there, if you get hurt by a patient they try to minimize the situation and still expect you to finish your shift, 99% of employees say they would NEVER send their child there for help.

Pros

We have a leadership team that truly care about the patients and staff, and mission of LPBHC. We have a fantastic CEO right now. He's been with the company since LPBHC opened. He understands the mission and has been involved with every hospital department, so his opinions are grounded in valuable knowledge and experience. The rest of Senior Leadership has done a really great job putting changes into place that make the patient and employee experiences better. They're fostering a culture of "change for the good", with patient care at the forefront of their decision making. This is a great place to work for someone who cares deeply about helping kids and their families through difficult times and the building is full of people who want to help.

Cons

Therapeutic boundaries are extremely challenging, and work can be stressful at times
