Pros

LinearB has assembled a really top-notch team. Everyone contributes at such a high level and is really fun to work with. Our product is very powerful and only getting better as time goes on. It feels good to be making such a positive impact on how other software engineering teams work. It also doesn't hurt that we're well funded and growing fast. Not all startups make it off the ground, but LinearB is clearly on a path for success.

Cons

I love my global team, but a wide variety of time zones and a largely remote workforce can make it difficult to stay fully connected.

They set a clear vision and direction for the company while giving people the trust and autonomy to do their best work. The culture emphasizes collaboration and ownership, which makes it motivating to be part of the team. The benefits are excellent, with thoughtful programs that support employees not just professionally but also personally. There are strong initiatives to help people develop their skills and grow their careers. Colleagues are talented, approachable, and genuinely want to help each other succeed. The company is also mission-driven, and it’s inspiring to contribute to something that has a real impact on engineering teams.

Cons

Most U.S.-based employees work remotely, which can sometimes make it feel a little disconnected from the rest of the global team.
