Incompetence of senior management. There is a high degree of disconnect between the expectations of the senior management and ground realities. Promises are made to customers without consulting the stake holders and the people who have to deliver on the promises. The managers are good people personally but they lack the professional experience to help team members grow professionally. The company is made up of people acquired from various companies as a result of acquisitions. Now they are in different positions for which they may not have the competence. There is little credibility in the management for promises, deadlines. Reviews are never on time, salary hikes are always late to be instituted, no bonuses.
