Pros
The best part of working at Lionbridge was definitely my colleagues! Many people from different countries, many experiences shared. Lionbridge was also a "boot camp" sort of place, where you will learn a lot in the first 2 years and will make you ready to tackle any job after that!
Cons
There is NO room for growth. Do not expect a salary increase. There is a lot of stress involved. You WILL be overwhelmed. No help will be given. You WILL work many extra hours (including working from home until midnight) with no compensation for this effort. Basically you are required to do everything.Terrible management; in that they are not trained, do not have the knowledge to hold such job. The management also take advantage of the foreigners working in the states. They are usually offered lower salaries than their American citizens colleagues holding the same position. The foreigners are also "held captive" due to their visa status situation. They are promised green cards, but in reality this never becomes a reality. Lots of changes and new "initiatives" implemented practically every week.
