      It's too good to be true - Back Up Lead LivaNova Employee Review

      Pros

      Met some cool people to work with.

      Cons

      Mgmt is untrustworthy. They tell all new hires it's a mon-thurs job with occasional Friday. It's actually mon-fri and the occasional Saturday. There is no work life balance. At this company you have to have the mindset of "you live to work not work to live" overall its a very unpleasant place to be. I will be leaving within a few weeks.

      Pros

      I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

      Cons

      The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
