Pros

My team was full of amazing, hard working people. One or two I did not like but the rest are easy to get along with.

Cons

Management style is awful, but it’s also because they are dealt an awful hand by the company. The amount of work goes up exponentially and you’re left with the same amount of people (and often less as the turnaround is high) to do more work. The way things are done changes all the time to try to deal with the absolutely ridiculous amount of work you have to do and only marginally helps. Everyone is always stressed but if you show that you’re stressed you’re not a team player. Bringing your struggles up to management means that you are given more work and more scrutiny, which…doesn’t help. And you get paid around 60k (you will not get more than 65k to start) which for me wasn’t enough incentive, because I had no life and was stressed constantly.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the people you worked with, we are disappointed to hear you found the workload excessive and felt a lack of communication with management. While our level of organizational activity can be exciting, we realize it can come with workload challenges. We are determined to improve communication and transparency between management. Thank you for shedding light on your experience and we wish you the best of luck in your career.

Pros

I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

Cons

The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
