Pros

Everything that LivaNova sells is a high quality product. They did well by the sales team during COVID. Good benefits including the recent addition of an Employee Stock Purchase Program. The future is very bright as they should be launching new therapies that will turn the company into a growth machine. If you have hopes of developing into leadership or other roles, it's a great place to be.

Cons

For a midsize company they can be slow. Although they recently adjusted it, there has been too many people involved in the approval process.

Pros

I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

Cons

The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
