      Pros

      The company is turning a new page. Senior leaders are excited and genuine in their commitment to innovation and evolving processes for the better. The senior leader team is trying to make a name for themselves which means they will drive more success for LivaNova. Employees are great to work with and are dedicated to what they do with earnest passion to do right by patients. The company is dedicated to diversity and inclusion. This ties back to their turning a new page and grasping on to fresh perspectives to evolve the company. Everyone is hungry to grow the company and be successful. Right now is a foundation setting time that will have big benefits.

      Cons

      outdated practice/processes - but working on evolving some middle level leaders are stuck in old habits or ways lots of change happening in different areas simultaneously, but it will calm down once they catch their stride work life balance is hard and a lot of travel if you're remote, but it's possible to manage

      Pros

      I think leadership puts a lot of thought into strategy, including the new human imperatives. They're having the right discussions and gathering employee insights. The culture is good and getting better from where i sit (but there is a lot of variability on experiences based on location culture) and I haven't met very many 'weak links' - people are smart and they work hard. Most people really, sincerely care about helping patients.

      Cons

      The size of the company means career pathing will just be limited. You really have to take control of your path and forge it- you can't wait for the organization to bubble up opportunities for you in a way that may be possible at larger organizations.
