Pros
I really like my boss and my department. Everyone is pretty nice. Good work-life balance for those of us in back-office operations. Those on the front line in the field do not seem to have work-life balance.
Cons
Salary is not competitive. Annual 3% raise. No training opportunities. Desperately need the new COO to help streamline operations. It's a patchwork of temporary fixes to get the job done without having a long-term vision. The work is not that challenging. LISC also does not attract that much top talent. Very old-fashioned, stodgy culture. Incredibly political where you have to know the right people. CEO obviously is about to run for office and does not value his employees.
