Pros

Large enough to offer a variety of career paths. Competitive salaries and benefits.

Cons

Growing your career depends on Who you Know, not What you Can Offer. I had the misfortune of working at an LM support office for an AFB in Illinois; there was a Triad of Power that 'ran things'. My supervisor was remote - located on the east coast - and when I reported the difficulties I encountered, he CONFIRMED them. His response was "most of Lockheed isn't like this". So, if you're considering a position with LM, check the specifics Thoroughly. BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU STEP IN; YOU MAY BE SCRAPING IT OFF YOUR SHOE FOR QUITE SOME TIME.

Pros

High level of integrity throughout the company, open communications, and sincere interest in doing the right thing.

Cons

Unfortunately, I need to come up with twenty words of cons. When in reality after 41+ years in IT, I have no cons for Lockheed Martin. They are not perfect, but highly acceptable.
