Pros
Competitive insurance package, but its merely a tech industry standard. Located in beautiful Boulder.
Cons
The enormous amounts of inescapable tech debt is downright gross. I have never once attributed my name to projects that were doomed for disaster until I worked at LogRhythm. Management is sets a heavy focus on 'patch as you go' which continually adds workloads to the future. Because the feature-set needs to be sales ready, engineers here are left questioning their career decisions, but are quickly reminded its hell because its LogRhythm. We have management that does not understand fundamental code so seeking guidance on project work flows is extremely difficult. Often times, the demands make no sense to the current project, but are shoved down our throats. Any less than positive Glassdoor reviews inspire witchhunts to find the perpetrator, even going so far as to hear the managers threaten entire teams for no good reason. I, probably like many, have absolutely been asked to help 'ramp up' our Glassdoor perception to help bring in more people. Probably because the best talent has left, or is on its way out. If its amazing here, you shouldn't ask your people to fake it! The culture is okay, but not what tech companies normally are. The culture here is one that exhibits insecurity and desperation. Sometimes slowing down is better in the long run.
