RACIs are literally just a paper than nobody follows. Regardless of the RACI in place, the global commercial organisation wants to decide in all matters without truly getting data based inputs from the markets. So when they eventually go and discuss with the markets, what comes back is a mix of personal opinions and inexperience that changes everything, even after years of work and endless alignments. Phenomenal waste of time and resources that is widely known across the organisation but not tackled by management. Instead of enforcing RACIs, addressing the conflict and supporting their teams along the way, managers are continuously going in circles and putting pressure down to avoid healthy discussions at their level. Everything is very passive aggressive, direct communication is almost sinful and only rarely allowed. If you are an efficient-results driven professional, you will go crazy here.
