LIU offers very little when it comes to upward career mobility. Upper management punishes good ideas and ambition. The innumerable small indignities that we deal with on a day-by-day basis are made even harder to swallow knowing that our annual raise has been next to nothing for over a decade. Unless you're in upper management or a tenured professor, this is not a good place to work.
