Pros

There is work flexibility, lunches and a fridge with drinks and free coffee. The new CEO seems more truatworthy. I wish I can say more meaningful things aside from that.

Cons

I have always worked for companies that are clear about certain factors such as compensation and bonuses. Even though the news was never positive, it was clear. Working at Long View is the opposite where they tell you WHATEVER they can to go talent through the front door and from that point on you are left on your own to either fit in with the highly segregated white leadership team or left in the dust. I was there for several years and have been skipped for raises while others have gotten promotions and raises. There is a serious issue with favouritism and nepotism in this company as it is evident with the same reviews on Glassdoor. Four words that will ultimately save your frustration with Long View: Don't waste your time. Lastly middle management is a complete joke. There's too much style and less substance at that level . Get rid of the popularity thing going on.

Pros

Large Canadian presence and solid leadership from the top, but not so much in the Sales org

Cons

No marketing or demand generation makes it very hard on the sales team. Middle managers/VPs can be toxic depending on your location. No cohesion across departments.
