Pros

Very flexible hours and a very collaborative environment. Consistent work with regards to assisting faculty and students with various video and multimedia projects.

Cons

My timesheet's aren't always turned in on time, which effects my 2 week pay, at times only getting paid for one week at certain pay periods.

A place to work with purpose and vision. Gives you a good experience and background. Room for growth and opportunity.

Cons

It can be intense and non-stop at times. Parking system fluctuates and you have to park off site sometimes or most times.

Pros

This program which has been in operation for over 75 years, provides an invaluable service to those seeking a way out of homelessness and alcohol/drug addiction. The corps of compassionate staff, chaplains, and supervisors provide a way for individuals to redeem their self-esteem and establish new vocational skills and experience. If you are interested in working in social services, I would highly recommend the LAM.

Cons

Pay rates may not be as competitive as other industries, but the reward of being of service to those in need outweighs this.
