Pros

You do not have to fold clothes or do floorsets- no after hours. You work 40 hours a week. Your work life somewhat depends on your district and DM-some are good and some not so good. Call or stop around showrooms before taking the job and ask specific questions.

Cons

No room for growth. Do not believe what anyone tells you. When I write this, there are some really bad thoughts going around about Mary Fox and how she is running the place. Search Mary Fox Reddit. Micromanaging is common how leadership runs business. There seems to be this sense of desperation and struggle. The focus of what to do will change because nothing works. It feels kind of sad. But then after all of that, they tell you to keep it simple and sell seats and sides. Rinse and repeat-micromanage and let's focus on this campaign. Don't take any of it too seriously. It will change soon anyway. Even the KPI's you focus on change. This place is not like a regular retailer.

Cons

This is one of the most toxic environments I’ve experienced. Morale is extremely low, leadership operates through fear and favoritism, and employees are treated as disposable. The company proudly promotes its core values, yet leadership and HR consistently fail to embody them in practice. HR exists to protect the company, not its people. If management decides they want you gone, they will find or manufacture a reason to justify it. Critical thinking, honest feedback, and challenging the status quo are discouraged. The only way to survive is to stay quiet, act like a robot, never question decisions, and color strictly within the lines they draw.
