Cons
LIHI in Seattle has received criticism from residents and former residents who have had negative experiences. Additionally, residents have reported being evicted without cause or due process, and there is no clear grievance or appeal process in place. Furthermore, there is a high rate of staff turnover, and residents have reported a lack of mental health support and a culture of neglect. These issues have led to a negative perception of LIHI's services and management. If they weren't a non-profit, they wouldn't last. They run off and profit from federal grant money, but don't run any of their housing developments well. There's rampant favoritism, racism, discrimination, for both staff and residents.
