Pros

After working for loyal source for the last several years, I honestly have a hard time of thinking of something positive to say. I want to say the pay is higher than industry average for EMTs but overtime is impossible here. PTO and sick leave is nice but anytime you call out, while following policy, you're risking getting written up. About 10% of the field personnel are absolutely lovely, intelligent, folks who made this job tolerable.

Cons

Oh, the list of cons I have for this company! This company used to be working for a "humanitarian" cause but now it's just a money maker for corporate using federal dollars. Relentless lawsuit after lawsuit to try and bully clients into longer contracts. This causes instability for us as employees and you can quite literally be laid off at a moments notice. But don't worry because you too as an employee will occasionally be threatened with legal action if you don't vow to surrender all your loyalty to LSGS. The medical protocols at this company, in the capacity that I work in, are an absolute joke and out of touch with reality. I've never seen such abhorrent care any where else and I personally feel so guilty because I haven't been able to do everything I know how to do, when I know the patient needed it. A lot of the clinical support staff are hopelessly lost and in need of basic retraining. About 65-75% of the Nurse Practitioners you'll deal with here are the most incompetent in the industry and has made me decide to never personally see a NP as my healthcare provider.

Pros

Having been with Loyal Source for nearly 11 years, I can confidently say this company provides real opportunity for growth and long-term career development. I started as a government healthcare recruiter and was able to evolve into sales, account management, and now manage a sales team. There’s a clear path for anyone willing to put in the work and take ownership of their career. Loyal Source has also played a major role in my personal growth. While working here, I earned my bachelor’s degree and hit several real-life milestones along the way. The opportunities provided have allowed me to travel and experience things I never thought would be possible, while still building a strong, sustainable career. The company does a great job of recognizing and rewarding performance. Earlier this year, I was honored to receive the Strategic Sales Award, which reflects the leadership team’s commitment to acknowledging impact and results. One of the biggest differentiators is the autonomy. You’re trusted to run your team, build something of your own, and think strategically. That level of ownership pushes you to grow both professionally and personally. The culture is more than just a company, it really does feel like a family. People genuinely support each other, and long-term relationships are built across teams. If you’re driven and looking for a place where you can grow, be challenged, and create real opportunity for yourself, Loyal Source gives you that platform. Excited to see what we accomplish in the years ahead!

Cons

There’s a bit of a learning curve early on as you get familiar with the company’s strategic approach and different business lines. With time and consistency, it all starts to click and sets you up well for long-term success.

Pros

There are no pros to working at this company.

Cons

There is no training for Nurse Practitioners. They just assign VA exams to you and expect you to complete them in a very short time period. These exams can be very complex and there are numerous rules and regulations you have to follow to fill them out correctly. Some Vets also have 10 claims and the company expects the examiner to submit all of the DBQ’s within 24 hours of the exam. This is impossible when you have multiple Vet exams a day. There is no support from management at all. They avoid answering employee calls and do not email back in a timely fashion. The pay is low and the incentive bonuses are impossible to achieve. They also expect examiners to work on the weekends and the evenings. There is no work/life balance at all. The company’s travel support is nonexistent. If you have an issue with travel, you are on your own and may not get reimbursed for expenses the company is supposed to cover such as parking fees. These fees may sound like a minimal expense but hotels in big cities charge on average 70$ a day for parking which can add up if you have to stay at a hotel for several weeks.
