Pros

Great skiiing and have a ton of friends who work with me.

Cons

Lucid Software, unfortunately, embodies a toxic work culture that is rife with favoritism and micromanagement. The company lacks vision and leadership, falling far behind its competitor Miro. Despite being a low-cost software option, the price is not worth the toll it takes on employees. The sales representatives at Lucid Software are treated like robots, with strict quotas of 25 calls and 25 emails a day, leaving them with no autonomy in their roles. The CFO and deal desk hold all the power, controlling deals and pricing without considering the input of the sales team. Furthermore, the uninspiring CEO delivers scripted messages, further disconnecting employees from the company's mission. In a shocking display of instability, Lucid Software fired its Chief Revenue Officer, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Customer Success, yet failed to replace any of them, leaving a void in leadership. In conclusion, Lucid Software is a sinking ship, drowning in a sea of poor culture, favoritism, micromanagement, and lack of leadership. Employees are overworked, undervalued, and unsupported, making it a company to avoid at all costs.

Pros

- Very strong mentorship program - Very nice people - Some VERY good engineers, PMs, and designers

Cons

- Pay isn't competitive outside of Utah (but hey, at least we're hiring) - Like most other companies at our size, your success and satisfaction largely depend on the team you're on - Sales and product/eng could probably be better aligned to inform product decisions - Like most other SAAS companies, we're investing A LOT into AI. This could bite us in the future (I personally think we're in a bubble, and the consequences of over-investing will be very painful once it bursts)
